All About Me Scrapbook Template Free Download

Download these free "All About Me" printables for Back to School (they make great scrapbook memorabilia!) – all grade levels from preschool to high school!

I can't believe it's back to school time already! This summer completelyflew by! It seems like the years pass by quicker and quicker each year, and I wanted to create something that would freeze time for a moment and allow me to capture a glimpse of my kiddos through their own eyes. I made these "All About Me" printables that are the perfect way to capture your kids' personalities and their current favorites and pastimes.

These printables are a great way for teachers to learn more about the students in their classroom, and they're perfect for parents who want to preserve these precious memories in a scrapbook album (like I did!). We're starting a new family tradition and filling these out each year for our scrapbook album – they'll be a great way to look back and see how much the kids have grown and changed over the years!

Of course, if you know me at all, you know that I love to add a little bit of sparkle and shine to my projects, so I used my Minc Foil Applicator machine to add metallic foil to the titles. The Minc is SO easy to use! Simply place the laser printed paper inside of the transfer folder, cut a thin strip of Heidi Swapp reactive foil, lay the foil over the desired area, close the folder, and run it through the Minc machine. It takes just minutes, and the results are stunning!

(Peeling back the foil to reveal the metallic shine is my favorite part!)

As soon as I had added the foil to my printables, my boys ran off with them to fill them out. They were really excited about the idea of making an annual back-to-school tradition of this!

While the boys were busy filling out their All About Me pages, I decided to make a few more foil accents for the accompanying scrapbook page. I love the Minc paper packs because they're already ready to go – just add foil and run it through the machine! This paper pack has a page full of 3″x4″ card designs that fit perfectly into my Project Life album, and they're all super cute!

I also used a few of my favorite Heidi Swapp Minc Ephemera pieces to embellish my scrapbook page. I like to run all of my small pieces through the Minc machine at once, so I place them on top of a sheet of blank white paper, cut small squares of reactive foil, and then use teeny tiny pieces of washi tape to hold the foil in place while I fill up the rest of the sheet (the tiny pieces of foil arevery lightweight, so they have a tendency to shift or blow away if you don't close the transfer folder right away).

Look at all of that shine! I layered several pieces of paper and ephemera to create a 3×4 card for each of the boys' scrapbook pages.

I printed out our First Day of School photos in the 3×4 size as well, and rounded the corners with a corner punch.

I used my Fuse tool to create a custom page layout to fit all of my layout components. I had a little bit of extra space above the All About Me printable, so I added a foil "Back to School 2015" title as well. (You can download the title here!)

So easy and cute!

So, what did I learn about my kids from this project? Simon says that he wants to be porta potty cleaner when he grows up (LOL! I have NO clue where he got that idea!), and he really loves his stuffed animals.

Sutton's favorite color is neon orange, he loves science, and he describes himself as a "gamer."

Sawyer loves Mythbusters and the band AC/DC, and all three of my kids said that pizza is their favorite food. This project was a really fun way to spend an afternoon with my boys, and we are all looking forward to doing this again next year!
